Adopting a new tiered pricing policy, a new table was created, an old field deleted and the SQL re-imported into
AdminConcentrate. After only two user-implemented changes (to adjust the display properties and prevent over-zelous
cross-referencing) the new system was up and running. A single button-click moved the changes to "live" and the customer
was bang up-to-date.
Sales reports are now generated from a simple description of the database. Summaries are available for the front-page and details and graphs are generated. Maintaining the emphasis on flexibility and power, the reports can be compared across weeks, months, years and days - any period can be selected including this-time over several years.
In its most demanding role to date, AdminConcentrate has been integrated into a new e-commerce site as the back-end of a replacement web-site. Once again, population of the database is taking place right now and the site should be running shortly.
The most dynamic site yet driven by AdminConcentrate is currently being populated. A local radio station is using the software to maintain news, events, advertizing and photo albums on their site under PHP4.4/MySQL4.1.
The current direction of development is towards integrated site/admin combinations while keeping alive the ethos of retrofitting to existing sites. For developers, the database import could be more intuitive and so, for now, initial setup is now included in the price of AdminConcentrate.
