Privacy and legal disclaimers.

Disclaimer:

While every effort has been made to test this system thoroughly, it is up to you to backup your data and verify that it is working for your data. There is no malicious code in this system but any bugs that cause damage by, for example but not limited to, wiping out your entire database, crashing your servers or bringing about armageddon are not the fault of the developers, suppliers or distributors of Admin Concentrate or anyone affiliated with them in any way.

In the event that damage does occur while using Admin Concentrate we reserve the right to do whatever we see fit to remedy the situation, including nothing, although we may, at our discretion, provide you with a phone number to flame us at 3am!

This is a version of the standard EULA distributed with all computer products - we just put it into plain English.

Privacy:

We take your privacy extremely seriously. This site is hosted by NearlyFreeSpeech.net who have an excellent privacy policy to which we subscribe wholeheartedly. In addition, we do not gather any more information than is absolutely necessary to allow you to use our product.

We do not buy, sell or give away email addresses to anyone for any reason whatsoever short of a court order which will be challenged.

When a sign in is provided for a remote data source, this information will be used only to maintain and update that data in accordance with the functionality of Admin Concentrate. Under no circumstances will that data be modified in any other way (eg munged). No data retrieved or derived from tables on this remote server will be saved on any other server, nor will it be scanned or processed except by what you see on the screen.
All personal information held on our tables will be encrypted using strong encryption (see next section) and accessed on a strictly need-to-know basis.

Our web site does not use cookies nor any other means of tracking customers. The Admin Concentrate system does use session cookies to store the keys in bulk selections in order to prevent data loss in the event that the server-side session times out. These cookies contain no other information, nothing which is personally identifiable and are removed when the browser closes.

Email addresses:

We do not buy, sell, give away or in any way trade in email addresses. We do not act as "agents" (sic) for any other products. Our business is simply to make the best web-based database admin tool possible. Any email address you provide will be used purely to contact you directly regarding your account and keep you appraised of current progress.

Encryption:

All important information is stored in encrypted format using as strong an encryption as necessary. Even your most trivial information is your information, not ours as is the decision about to whome it gets released.

Your user ID for the admin concentrate system is stored unencrypted.
Your admin concentrate password is stored as a one-way hash value. We are, therefore, unable to tell you what your password is, only to reset it to a default value.
Your email address and table layouts are encrypted using strong encryption available to ourselves and anyone with your password.
Login details to remote systems are strong encrypted and accessible only with the use of your password. This information is not stored anywhere else and is therefore unavailable to anyone else, including us. If your password has to be reset, this information must be re-entered since it is virtually impossible to access it without the original password unless you have the resources of the CIA and a few decades to spare.
